If you want to lose weight and have reached this page by asking your favorite search engine, “Do diet pills work?” - the answer is no, but LSD might!
I’ve been trying to figure out how get more visitors to this blog. So, I did what you just did - I started off by asking Google a question. I said, “Hey Google, How many people ask you about weight loss and diet?”
Google replied, “During February 2009 there were 368,000 searches that included the word “weight loss” and 201,000 for “diet“.
Cool!! Lots of people are searching for weight loss and diet information!
Then I typed, “Dear Google, how do I get these wonderful people to type “How to Get Skinny” into your search box so that I can show them some easy diets that work for weight loss - specifically the plan I followed and is one of the best ways to lose weight?”
Really. I typed all of that. I swear. [click to continue…]

How To Lose 12lbs FAST!The Fat Loss TroubleshootPrecision Nutrition
I’ve begun following the daily diet of a Registered Dietitian over at SELF Magazine. Yesterday I tracked everything she and I consumed. I’m going to track a few more days for a more detailed comparison. However, one thing I find quite interesting when comparing our consumption for yesterday is this:
RD total calories: 1860 Total solid food volume: 1.7 lbs.
My total calories: 1680 Total solid food volume: 4 lbs!
I had LESS calories and MORE FOOD! Maybe you should eat like me and not like her?
How often have you been hungry while on a reduced calorie diet? Food volume has been shown to have an effect on satiety (how hungry you feel)! Would you rather eat 4 lbs of food a day or 1.7 lbs of food a day? Could you even EAT 4 lbs of food a day? I bet many of you can’t - even if you are overweight!
How many times have you gone off your diet because you were just too hungry? How many times have you eaten more calories than you needed simply because you were starving? Food volume can help you feel satisfied, therefore not hungry, and so you will be more likely to stick with it and therefore LOSE MORE WEIGHT! [click to continue…]

I’m just kinda trying out this Zemanta “reblog this” thing they have on MyBlogLog. It’s actually kinda cool! This quote is from Rob over at Former Fat Guy Blog. He’s smart. Listen to him!
Comparison: Weight Watchers “proudly” reports that their users average a 3% (three-percent) weight loss over two years. That equated to just 4.5 pounds for a 150lb person.formerfatguy, Former Fat Guy Blog, Dec 2008
You should read the whole article.
I follow Rob, formerfatguy, on Twitter which is how I found this - so if you don’t Twitter, you might wanna - great way to find GOOD, reliable, USEFUL information. And find out what strangers do before bed. Yeah, I know. It’s weird. I didn’t “get it” either, until I tried it. Kinda like how I didn’t “get” the eating “healthy” thing Rob talks about in this post!!
Rob is one of the good guys who is not trying to make a buck by preying on your fears, insecurities, emotions, and a host of other things that I will talk about in my “About Me” video that I will post hopefully today. So, go read his Former Fat Guy Blog.
