Dieting and Not Losing Weight?

Are you dieting but not losing weight? Are you on a diet but gaining weight?

Is weight gain while dieting normal? Well, it depends!

Weight fluctuations are normal.

A better question might be, “WHY am I gaining or not losing weight?”

If you can’t identify the WHY (like maybe you ate six Twinkies last night) then it’s time to reevaluate your weight loss methods, program, nutrition, workout, motivation, goals, etc.

Or keep spinning your wheels going nowhere.  You choose.

Do you know how many calories you require to lose weight? Do you know how many calories you are consuming a day? If not, that is where you want to look first - caloric requirements and caloric consumption.  More often than not, if you aren’t losing weight it is because you are consuming too many calories! Barring that……..
